The Hartenbos waterpark has two slides. This water slide is for the little one's.   The water is not to fast and ends in a shallow pool.

There are two mini golf courses at the new Hartenbos Fun Park. I haven't played yet but it looks like fun

Hundreds of Vygie plants on the dunes next to the ocean in Hartenbos. 

The camping sites for caravans and tents are right next to the ocean.   Just a short walk to go swimming and at night you can go to sleep with the sound of the waves in the background.

Together with camping sites the “Afrikaanse Taal en Kultuurvereniging (ATKV)” or Afrikaans Language and Cultural Society also has a lot of chalets in different sizes for people who don’t want to camp.   This is some of the smaller chalets that can be found close to the lagoon.

Hartenbos is a polular spot for camping  and thousands people from all over South Africa come to relax and enjoy the beach. 

One of the poems that can be found along the path in Hartenbos as part of the walking trail "’n Eeu se digkuns" or "A Century of Poetry".

This is another view of the path along the beach in Hartenbos with the Outeniqua Mountains in the distance.

When the path was build by the “Afrikaanse Taal en Kultuurvereniging (ATKV)” or Afrikaans Language and Cultural Society they added benches along the way to sit.   At each bench an Afrikaans poem about the ocean can be found.   The ATKV calls this path: “’n Eeu se digkuns”   or "A Century of Poetry".
