Old Point High School

Keating & Co built this school in 1909.  The stones were quarried in the hills and transported with cocopans on the rails to the school.  Different stones were used: dark pink stones contrasts with the sandstone around the windows.

In the 1960's the number of learners at the school became too much for the building.  In 1974 a new building was started and on 19 March 1976 the school moved to the new premises. The Milkwood Primary School now uses the building.
